RESERVING, GUARANTEEING AND METHODS OF PAYMENT

RESERVING and GUARANTEEING your Tours, Hotels or Rental Car.

RESERVING TOURS: You may reserve your tour by Email, specifying which tours, dates and the number of Adults and Children that are to be on the tours you want. Your hotel would be good to know also. To assure the dates and space for your reservation we usually require a $50/person deposit for full day tours or full payment if you prefer be paid. With just an email we will hold your reservation for a reasonable amount of time that it takes for you to pay your deposit as guarantee.

RESERVING HOTELS or CARS etc: Depending on the Hotel or Rental Car company and on the season, this usually only requires a credit card in your name as guarantee against late cancellations or "no-shows". In some cases deposits or full payments by card or other means are sometimes required. As long standing tour operators we are able to temporarily reserve hotels, cars and tours operated by others, until you are able to comply with the hotel's or car rental's required guarantee conditions.

GUARANTEEING TOURS: To guarantee your tour reservation with us, we usually require a deposit for 50% of the total tour price or sometimes only $50/person. Payment of the deposit is accepted with Credit Cards via the PayPal button on this page. You may pay the balance due in Cash US$ on the day of the tour, but payment of the balance with a credit or debit card must be done on-line via PayPal on our website, on this page or other pages with 'Pay Now' buttons before the tour date as we don't accept credit or debit cards during the tour. We do not accept bank checks or Traveler's Cheques of any kind. If you want to use your Credit/Debit Card to pay the balance, you must pay it here on-line for which we recommend you do it prior to your departure from home, or pay in cash US$ on the (first) day of your tour(s). During tourism's high seasons of December through April and from July through the first weekend of September, full payment may be required 30 days prior to your tour dates. You will be advised of this requirement before a deposit is accepted.

PAYMENT / DEPOSIT METHODS and INSTRUCTIONS

After you have contacted us by email, fax, or telephone and you have decided on which tours etc you want, we will give you a final price for your tours and determine an amount of the deposit to guarantee your reservation, which you can pay using the following 'Pay Now' button below:

CREDIT CARD INSTRUCTONS:
Credit/Debit Cards are accepted for paying the deposit, for the total price of the tour or for the balance (prior to the first tour date). Click on the "PAY NOW" Button Above or Below. A secure PayPal connection will be provided that should show our name as "Paradise Tours" on top left corner of PayPal's payment page and under Merchant information it should show the email address: tours@paradisetours.com.
But in email links throughout our website we also use other valid email addresses such as; info@paradisetours.com or reserve@paradisetours.com etc so with other email links in the website do not think it has to be the same as with our PayPal payment email address.

Currently you cannot indicate Quantities which is fixed at 1 (Tour payment), nor add other information about your payment on our PayPal payment page. Until we solve that problem, please just input the Total Amount of your payment in the "Price per Item" box.

You will receive a payment confirmation from PayPal on our behalf.

After you make your payment you will immediately receive from PayPal, on our behalf, an automated reply generated by PayPal confirming your payment. We will also send you a thank you note confirming your payment directly from us.
If you do not get a confirmation email directly from us as a backup to the one PayPal sends you please let us know and we will check our PayPal account to verify that we got the payment and send you a confirmation email.

We accept Cash US$ as final payment of the tour's balance once you are in Costa Rica. We do not accept Traveler's Cheques because they are awkward to cash here. Final Payment by credit card of a balance due is possible only on-line prior to your tour.

REFUND POLICY:

Deposits and payments are 100% refundable with 30 days or more of notice prior to the first/earliest reserved tour date.
50% of the payment or deposit is refundable with 21 days or more notice prior to the first tour date if cancelled in writing by email..
Payments or Deposits are NOT refundable in part or in full with less than 21 days notice prior to the first/earliest tour date if cancelled in writing by email,unless a FULL Payment was made, in which case the following applies.
50% of Full Payments are refundable with 14 days or more prior notice to the first/earliest tour date, except for the portion of payments already paid for entry fees, hotels or to other service providers whose cancellation policy is different from ours, for which their own particular cancellation policy would apply. But most of these other service providers do not refund with less than 30 days prior notice or sometimes 15 days prior notice. We cannot guarantee another service provider's refund policy, but we will do our best to help you while we have to abide by their policy. We will confirm receipt of your cancellation in writing by email. We feel that our refund policy is reasonable, fair and more lenient than other tour operators. To say to others that no space is available for a certain tour or date, we need a guarantee from all of our customers.
Absolutely NO Refund applies for cancellations with less than 14 days prior notice before the first/earliest reserved tour date.
In any case cancellations must be made in writing by email to any of our valid email addresses in which case the date of the email applies and is then acknowledged by us in a reply email,
