Weekly rates are based on 6 days rental
fee with the 7th day's rental fee being free, but you still pay the 7
days in tag fees and insurance.
** INSURANCES:
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Insurance is mandatory and
covers the rented vehicle for collision damage and roll over caused
by accident. CDW can be declined if the client has a credit card
that covers CDW. If you decline CDW, you MUST buy SLI (Supplemental
Liability Insurance). See rates below.
Without CDW Coverage customer is responsible for the deductible in case of damages.
In case of damage due to a traffic accident, you must have a report
from a CR Traffic Police officer. In case of other damages, such as
due to a break-in or vandalism of the vehicle, you'll need a local
police report, otherwise insurance will not cover it.
SLI (Supplemental Liability
Insurance):
Supplemental Liability Insurance covers your liability to third
parties or properties resulting from auto accident.
You may decline SLI ONLY IF you pay for CDW INSURANCE and if you do
decline SLI because you paid for CDW coverage you will be responsible for all damages
caused to third party properties.

VIC: (Vandalism Insurance Coverage) USD $6.00 per day for all
categories
It covers vandalism to the rented vehicle: radio, door locks and
windows. (Applies only for rentals of more than 3 days and for
customers with foreign driver’s license). Customer must present
police reports for all incidents.
INSURANCE FROM ANY PRIVATE COMPANY IS NOT ACCEPTED
*** Security Deposit:
As with all
major car rental companies,
a credit card deposit of
$750, $1,000 or $1,500 is required, depending on the vehicle, to cover the insurance deductible
and security risks
and is guaranteed by a
separate credit card voucher drawn for the specified amount. This
credit card voucher will be cancelled and returned when vehicle is
returned in the same condition as rented. An inspection of the
vehicle before and after the rental is performed in your presence.
Some credit card issuers offer
protection for the deductible amount, but you are still liable for
this amount, for which in case of damage to the vehicle your card
will be charged and it will be up to you to settle with your credit
card issuer when you get home. Therefore you may prefer the
additional Damage coverage CDW.
Requirements:
CDW insurance is mandatory. Can be decline if credit card covers,
which will make taking SLI Mandatory.
Valid driver's license.
Valid passport.
Visa, Amex, Master Card, and Dinners Credit Cards accepted.
Minimum rental, 24 hours.
Deductible Security Deposits:
$750.00 (vehicles A,B,C). $1.000.00 ( E,F,G,H). $1.500.00
(vehicles I,J,K,L,M)
No cash deposit accepted.
Rental Rates include unlimited mileage.
Pick up at San José International Airport has an airport fee of 13%.
Car Rental Company's Cancelation Policy is to charge $50.00
USD for NO SHOWS or for cancelations of with less than 48 hours
prior notice before your pick up date.

for rentals of minimum 3 days
with no
rental charges for the telephone itself only for calls made at
$0.79 per minute for in-country calls with a minimum 5 minutes
charge per day = $3.95 with rollover of unused minutes from one day
to next . International calls are a separate charge.
