NW Pacific diving offers the ultimate variety in diving experiences with massive schools of fish, rays and jacks, whale sharks, giant mantas, sea turtles, bull sharks and more depending on the season.  The unique luxury 4 star beachfront resort on the NW Pacific coast in the Guanacaste Province is Costa Rica's first PADI Dive resort and the only one in Costa Rica awarded PADI's highest honor, the "Gold Palm Recognition".   Twenty excellent "Local Dive" spots are from 7 to 15 minutes away from the resort.  Special dive trips are available to the Bat  Islands 21 miles (1:45) away or to the Catalina Islands 14 miles (0:45) away.   Special pampering from the staff who rinse your equipment and expert care from the 2 certified Dive Master guides per boat, together with top quality equipment ensure a safe and pleasant experience.  Wetsuits of 3 to 5 mm thickness are adequate for the 78° to 84°F ( 27°C) water temperatures.  Visibility is generally from 15 to 80 feet (4 to 25 mts) and depths of 20 to 100  feet (7 to 30 mts).  Equipment rental is available from our own dive shop.  Nitrox is available for those so certified.
Local Dive trips generally depart around  8:00 am and return around 1:30 pm.
